Like another reviewer, I was also disappointed that there was no countdown feature--that was something I had looked for specifically. I've been surprised how many watches on Amazon have been advertised as having a countdown feature but reviewers write that the feature is missing.
The watch was also bigger than I expected; more like a unisex size, in my opinion.
Other than that, though, the watch has served me well. It is indeed waterproof (I tested it first thing out of the box), its appearance is more pleasing than I expected from the picture, and it's easy to use. The backlight is striking--the day of the week shows in green, the date in red, and the time in blue. The timer can show all three units of time--hour, minute, and second--so I can time even my long runs down to a 100th of a second. Note: If the watch is left on the timer setting, it will automatically revert to the time setting in a minute or so.
So far, the watch proved itself to be very durable, which is a huge plus for me because I'm very active and my watch goes through a lot of wear on a daily basis. For the price, the value is good. -- Good watch, but no countdown
I purchased this watch for my girlfriend. She is in the Coast Guard and wanted something that she could wear with her uniform. This watch has worked out perfectly. It has good water resistance and can be programmed to have two different time zones. However the best part is the back lighting. It illuminates the entire face very well without sacrificing any of the clarity of the watch face; very nice indeed. I highly recommend this affordable device! -- Perfect
