Great looking watch, the catch is you can't read the time & very low back light -- OK But
I purchased this watch from another retailer a few weeks ago, and have worn the watch constantly since buying it. I absolutely love the matte black case and no nonsense vibe from the watch. Its best feature though is the dark screen. It precludes people from leaning over and trying to see the time off of my watch (which drives me crazy) but most of the time is entirely legible to the wearer. In times when it is too dark to read though, it has a great back light that makes it easy to see.
My only complaint is of the band. All G-Shocks have a seemingly cheap band which feels like it will fall apart any second. After wearing it, I can say that the band will not fall apart, but nonetheless it still really does FEEL cheap.
I absolutely love this watch, it combines near indestructibility with a beautiful rugged styling. A great buy for anyone; well worth the $100 price. -- Awesome looking and extremely rugged.
I'm in the military and bought this watch last week and I work nights on the flightline and yeah it's dark out and love the indiglo feature and how it has the blackout look to it. This is my 2nd Casio G-Shock watch and unfortunately my first one broke during a maintenance task. It's slick and been showing it to the other crew chiefs I work with and they like it. It can def take a beating. -- Love this watch
I was looking for a watch for my son who was going into the Army at the end of September. I order the watch and was worried it would not be here in time. It was here in two days without any more postage. Also he is in basic and he has commented on the number of people that have seen the watch and are planning on purchasing one. -- Everyone Wants One
this is a great watch! its exactly what i needed. it takes a beating very well, without getting all scratched up and scuffed at the same time. the only thing that im a little confused about is why it costs as much as other gshock watches that have twice the features. this watch has time/date, single alarm, countdown timer, and stopwatch functions. i saw other gshocks that had five alarms and other crazy things that i didnt need for either the same price or a couple bucks more. is it because this is a special edition watch? probably... -- great watch
