I bougth this watch right before I joined the military. That was three years ago. I've gone thru 1 battery, and its been thru hell. On my third time to places most Americans will never see, and it keeps on ticking. It has never failed me or let me down. Its been thru water, mud, heat, cold, snow, ice, you name it. Its been slammed, smacked, and dropped. This truly is the greatest watch I have ever owned!! Worth EVERY dime!!! Its kept time, when lives counted on it! If nothing more than mine! The only complaint is that in its third year the numbers on the bezzel are just starting to fade as with the luminescence. But three years..come on. It cant last forever! This will last me at least another 3 years!
Remember, the luminescence doesnt depend on light, so i never goes dim! -- 3 years and ticking....
First off, it's made by Traser. That alone should tell you something, especially in this world of knock-offs and [...]. But, if it doesn't, let me just say that Traser is dam* fine piece of machinery, made directly in Switzerland.
Second, this really does the job intended to do. You don't need to be Recon to own one of these, nor do you need to be SAS. It is extremely bright, functional, light-weight, and perfect for situations on the fly. Ops by night are no problem, nor would it be a problem if you just need an extremely bright watch to glance at in night functions (whatever they may be).
Third, it's actually very stylish. Good for use all the time, in any situation/event. Definitely pick one up if you are so inclined...though I would advise to shop around...you can pick it up for less than advertised here.
Semper Fi. -- Outstanding piece of precision artistry...
